Our longstanding core business of winter maintenance, has enabled us to develop an expansive and growing portfolio of clients, built on high quality service, trust and strong working relationships. As a result, we are now expanding our services across additional external lines.
We are looking for a dedicated, highly organised and confident Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of our services, working closely with our management team, operations team and subcontractor partnership network.
This is an important role within the business, requiring strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, operational awareness and the ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the day-to-day coordination of winter maintenance and wider facilities services
- Using our app-based operational platform and advanced back-office systems to schedule, coordinate and distribute works
- Liaising with subcontractor partners to issue instructions, monitor progress and obtain service updates
- Monitoring quality, performance, service evidence and process adherence
- Supporting client communication through clear, professional updates
- Assisting with operational compliance, including records, evidence and contractor information
- Supporting the internal operations team with administration, reporting and service delivery tasks
- Helping improve systems, processes and operational performance as the business continues to grow
The successful applicant must have:
- Excellent attention to detail, due diligence and the ability to follow processes
- A positive, proactive can-do attitude, with the ability to anticipate issues and take ownership of tasks
- Strong telephone manner and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond professionally to changing priorities
- Strong computer literacy, with confident use of Microsoft Office, app-based platforms and operational systems
- Experience in operations coordination, facilities, logistics, highways, contractor support, service delivery or a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Salary Package: £27,000 – £32,000 p.a. basic salary, dependent on experience, plus discretionary performance-related annual bonus.
