Responsibilities
- Perform customised massage treatments based on client needs, including relaxation, deep tissue, and other therapeutic techniques
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic treatment area in accordance with health and safety standards
- Consult with clients to understand their specific requirements and tailor treatments accordingly
- Ensure client comfort throughout the session, maintaining professional boundaries at all times
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and any relevant client feedback
- Adhere to all organisational policies regarding hygiene, safety, and confidentiality
- Promote wellness programmes and recommend suitable additional therapies or products when appropriate
Experience
- Proven experience as a massage therapist or similar role within a professional setting
- Demonstrable knowledge of human anatomy is essential for effective treatment planning and execution
- Familiarity with various massage techniques and modalities preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Certification from a recognised massage therapy programme or equivalent qualification is desirable
