As we embark on an exciting period of growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant with a strong background in the UK home care sector to help us establish and grow our client base.
### The Role
This is a unique opportunity to work with a startup care provider and play a pivotal role in shaping its growth strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development activities, increasing brand awareness, generating referrals, and supporting the acquisition of private-paying clients.
### Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a sales and business development strategy for Heart2Heart Care Ltd.
* Generate new client enquiries and support conversion into care packages.
* Build and maintain relationships with:
* GP practices
* Hospital discharge teams
* Social workers
* Pharmacies
* Community organizations
* Solicitors and financial advisors
* Represent Heart2Heart Care Ltd at networking and community events.
* Identify and develop referral partnerships across West Sussex.
* Advise on marketing activities, including digital, print, and community marketing.
* Support the development of promotional materials and campaigns.
* Assist with recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives.
* Track and report on leads, referrals, and business development activities.
* Provide recommendations to improve enquiry handling, client onboarding, and conversion rates.
* Work closely with the Directors to support the growth of the business.
### Essential Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the UK care sector.
* Proven track record of generating private client referrals for domiciliary care services.
* Strong understanding of the home care market and CQC-regulated services.
* Established network within healthcare and social care (desirable).
* Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
* Right to work in the UK.
### Desirable Requirements
* Experience working for a domiciliary care provider, franchise, or healthcare organization.
* Knowledge of local healthcare networks across Sussex and Surrey.
* Experience in digital marketing and lead generation.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and care management software.
* Experience supporting startup or growing businesses.

### Success Measures

* Support the acquisition of Heart2Heart Care Ltd's first private clients.
