We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling and barbering, with excellent customer service and communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to lead and mentor junior staff while delivering exceptional hairdressing services to our valued clients. The Senior <PERSON> will be responsible for maintaining high standards of professionalism, creativity, and client satisfaction within a welcoming salon environment.
Responsibilities
- Delivering a wide range of hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members to ensure service excellence
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through personalised consultations
- Staying updated with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products
- Ensuring the salon maintains high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow
- Promoting retail products and additional services to enhance client experience
- Upholding all health and safety regulations in accordance with industry standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling and barbering, with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and team members
- recognised qualification in hairdressing or barbering recognised within the UK
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised, detail-oriented, with a professional attitude towards client care and hygiene standards
