An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join a well-established award winning architectural practice in Harrogate.
This role is ideally suited to a commercially minded design professional with strong job-running capability and proven experience delivering large-scale commercial projects across sectors including Residential, Retail, Industrial and Logistics.
You will play a key role in leading projects from concept through to completion, managing project delivery, client coordination and technical development within a collaborative and design-focused environment.
The Role
- Lead the design and technical delivery of commercial architecture projects
- Manage projects through all RIBA stages from concept to completion
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants and client relationships
- Produce and oversee high-quality technical and construction information
- Work across a varied portfolio including residential, retail, industrial and logistics developments
- Undertake responsibilities relating to CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer duties
Requirements
- Qualified ARB/RIBA Architect or MCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist
- Minimum 8 years’ experience within commercial architecture
- Proven experience running complex, large-scale projects independently
- Strong technical and detailing capability
- Fully proficient in Revit
- Experience undertaking CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer roles
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
