Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager
Reports to: Head of Investments
Salary: £40,000 basic salary with a guaranteed minimum income of £65,000 per annum, via an attractive bonus and commission scheme. Six-month probationary period.
Working Hours & Location
This is a full-time, office-based position, working Monday to Friday during normal business hours (9-5.30). The successful candidate will be required to work five days per week from the office. This role is not suitable for remote or hybrid working, and there is no option to work from home.
Please note: Due to the collaborative, customer-facing and sales-driven nature of this role, regular attendance at the office is an essential requirement of the position.
Job Purpose
To support the investment sales function by generating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing investors, and providing administrative and marketing support to the Head of Investments. The role focuses on lead generation converting leads into property viewing appointments, marketing campaigns, sales progression, appointment setting, investor aftercare, and ensuring the smooth administration of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Investments.
- Produce sales brochures for each investment property to be sold by liaising with the external design company.
- Generate new sales leads through property portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla.
- Create and manage targeted email marketing campaigns and support wider sales and marketing initiatives.
- Follow up on sales enquiries and convert leads into property viewing appointments.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and aftercare to existing investors.
- Coordinate appointments for investors, surveyors and other stakeholders through effective diary management.
- Progress property sales by liaising with solicitors, investors and other parties to ensure transactions proceed efficiently.
- Collate and distribute supporting documentation, including EPCs, floor plans, asbestos reports and other property information required during the sales process.
- Maintain accurate records of investor communications and sales activity using the company's CRM system.
- Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally and confidently.
- Assist with general sales administration and investment-related enquiries.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, contributing to the continued growth of the investment sales department and supporting the achievement of business objectives.
- Achieve agreed appointment generation and sales activity targets.
Person Specification
Essential Experience
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, sales support, administration or customer service preferably in a property sales environment.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using a CRM system is desirable.
- Previous sales and marketing experience within the property industry is preferred.
