We are currently looking for caring, committed and enthusiastic Care Assistants to join our small friendly care team.You may have experience in other sectors or in health and social care, we will provide necessary training and support to provide high standard of care to our residents.
The Duties and responsibilities are:-
The following are the duties you may undertake, all of these should be done in a manner which encourages service users towards the maximum degree of independence and activity appropriate to their abilities.
· Assisting getting up in the morning including washing /bathing, dressing and maintaining personal appearance and assisting them to go to bed.
· Assisting service users with preparation of meals, drinks and snacks where necessary.
· Provide assistance with toileting and changing clothes.
· Provide assistance with other tasks of personal daily living that you cannot manage and provide general support as part of the caring team.
· Assist the nursing staff where necessary and monitor health related conditions such as dietary and fluid intake.
.To comply with the COVID infection prevention and control procedures.
· To ensure service users retain individuality and personal dignity by promoting high standards of care and encouraging independence where appropriate.
· Ensure that cultural needs are catered for sensitively.
· To respect the confidential nature of work.
· To attend meetings, trainings etc.
· To ensure that Health and Safety and equal opportunities policies are implemented all the time.
· To undertake any duties specified by the management.
