Tiptree Patisserie: Warehouse & Stock Controller
Full-Time: 39 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
Pay: £12.77 per hour (£25,897.56 per annum)

Tiptree Patisserie is seeking a full-time Warehouse & Stock Controller to join our team in Witham. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy food production environment, supporting the logistical aspects of the manufacture of high-quality bakery and patisserie products. Tiptree Patisserie is a wholesale bakery and patisserie, based in Witham and is part of the wider Wilkin & Sons group.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and check all deliveries from suppliers following the goods in procedure
- Ensure all orders are sorted and ready for the next day's outload
- Wrap and label pallets for dispatch
- Pick items for production from the warehouse where required
- Flag product shortages and date issues to management
- Ensure stock rotation following FIFO at all times
- Place purchase orders with suppliers and ensure they are received
- Ensure high level of cleanliness & order of internal and external areas, following methods such as clean as you go and deep cleaning when required
- Delivering goods to customers or collecting goods from suppliers as required
- Complete accurate stock checks
- Complete daily health & safety checks on forklift trucks, and related equipment
Essential qualifications/attributes:
- Full UK driving licence
- Polite, methodical, comfortable working in a team and on your own
Desirable:
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
- Food Safety Level 1
- Basic computer skills
- Good levels of literacy and numeracy
- Experience of warehouse and distribution operations
