Are you an experienced Band 6 or Band 5 Dietitian looking to develop specialist skills in paediatric dietetics? Or a soon-to-be graduate eager to start your career in paediatrics and progress quickly to Band 6?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian to join our friendly and supportive Children and Young People’s Dietetic Service. This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in paediatric care, including working with children and young people living with diabetes.
This post offers a varied and rewarding caseload, including:
Managing a specialist paediatric diabetes caseload
Providing inpatient dietetic support within the Highland Children’s Unit
Delivering outpatient clinics, including infant feeding allergy services
You will play a key role in supporting children, young people and their families to achieve the best possible health outcomes. While we would ideally welcome a dietitian with paediatric experience, we are equally keen to hear from those without prior experience, including newly qualified graduates. Comprehensive training and structured support will be provided to help you develop in the role.
Newly qualified dietitians will start at Band 5, with progression to Band 6 within 12 years on completion of competencies
