Are you a passionate and motivated catering professional who enjoys leading by example? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, family-focused environment where no two days are the same? If so, Odds Farm Park is looking for a hands-on Catering Supervisor to join our friendly and energetic team.
About the Role
As Catering Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our busy food and beverage outlets. This is a hands-on position where you will work alongside the team to deliver excellent food, outstanding customer service, and a memorable experience for our visitors.
You will support the Catering Management team in maintaining high standards across all catering areas while ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of catering assistants.
- Work alongside the team serving customers, preparing food, and maintaining service standards.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Support with staff training, development, and performance management.
- Manage stock levels, deliveries, and ordering requirements.
- Help control labour and food costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Resolve customer queries professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with opening, closing, and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure catering outlets are clean, well-presented, and fully operational throughout the day.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service supervisory role.
- Leads by example with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Is confident managing teams in a busy environment.
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Works well under pressure and remains organised during peak trading periods.
- Has a good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
- Is flexible and available to work weekends, school holidays, and bank holidays
