About the roles
Looking for a tree surgeon OPERATIVE with CS38 and CS39. CS30 and CS31 to work in a 2-man team.
Also looking for a Team Leader to supervise a team of tree surgeons on various projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Carry out tree surgery tasks including pruning, felling, and dismantling using appropriate techniques and equipment.
You will have responsibility for people management, conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
You will work closely with both internal team and liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice where needed, ensuring smooth operations and the highest performance standards.
Oversee the maintenance and inspection of equipment, to ensure it is fit for purpose.
Train and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and maintain a high-performing team.
Requirements
· Proven experience in tree surgery, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
· Relevant qualifications, such as NPTC/LANTRA certifications (e.g., CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39).
· A strong understanding of health and safety practices in arboriculture.
- Ability to train, guide, and mentor others on site working.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in using climbing equipment, chainsaws, and other tree surgery tools.
· A full, clean UK driving licence.
· Excellent communication and team management skills.
· A passion for arboriculture and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.
