Animal Management Lecturer
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill) and John Ruskin College (Selsdon)
Salary: £29,373 - £41,718 (subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)
A remarkable and unique opportunity has arisen at East Surrey College as we seek to appoint a Lecturer in Animal Management to teach on Level 1–3 Animal Management.
This role sits within a brand-new and rapidly growing department, offering the successful candidate a rare chance to shape its future. You will play a key role in the development of the curriculum, contribute to the design of new facilities, and help establish a vibrant learning environment that includes small mammals and reptiles as part of our hands-on teaching resources.

The successful candidate must have:
- A Teaching qualification at level 3 or above
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in animal science, zoology, veterinary science, or a related field is desirable
- T Level experience is desirable
- Experience working in the animal management industry or a similar educational setting.
- Previous, relevant FE teaching experience
- Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
