Job Description:
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Excavator Operator to join a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Eggborough, Goole.
This is a good opportunity for a reliable and competent operator with experience in civil engineering or infrastructure environments. The works are currently anticipated to run for approximately 6 weeks, with further work opportunities potentially available beyond this point.
Role Responsibilities
- Operating excavators safely and efficiently on site
- Carrying out general groundwork activities
- Working around existing services and following permit systems where required
- Assisting groundworkers as needed to maintain progress
- Completing daily plant checks and reporting defects
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS card (Excavator) (Lifting Ops preferable)
- Proven experience on construction or civils projects
- Good awareness of health and safety on site
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow site instructions
- Experience working around services or infrastructure is beneficial
Pay and Details
- Up to £280 per day (CIS) depending on experience
- 10 hours per day
- Approximately 6 weeks duration with potential for ongoing work
- Immediate start available
