TCS Recruitment is currently recruiting School Cleaners to work across schools in Telford and the surrounding Shropshire areas.
These are part-time, term-time roles, usually working after the school day has finished.
Hours and pay
- Start times usually between 3:30pm and 4:00pm
- Finish times usually between 5:30pm and 7:00pm
- Exact hours will vary depending on the school and assignment
- Minimum payment of four hours per shift
- Enhanced DBS required – TCS Recruitment can help facilitate this
Main duties may include
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
- Wiping desks, surfaces and frequently touched areas
- Replenishing cleaning supplies
- Following health and safety procedures
- Following all school safeguarding requirements
- Carrying out instructions from the site supervisor or school team

- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not always essential
