Carrick+Stone is a premium wine, whisky and cocktail lounge in the heart of Ayr, serving fine wines, exceptional whiskies, Scottish small plates and sharing platters in a warm, stylish and premium lounge setting. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen operation and help maintain the standards that define the Carrick+Stone guest experience.You will be responsible for keeping the kitchen, food preparation areas and equipment clean, organised and ready for service at all times. You will support the Chef with deliveries, stock rotation, waste management, cleaning schedules and basic food preparation duties where required. This is a vital role within the business. A well-run kitchen relies on a reliable Kitchen Porter who takes pride in cleanliness, organisation and helping the team succeed.We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes responsibility for their work and understands the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and attention to detail.You will need:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliability and good timekeeping
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to cleanliness and high hygiene standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
