C. Morgan Pallets LTD is looking for a reliable and hardworking Pallet Repairer to join our team. This is a hands-on role working in a busy pallet yard where you will be responsible for repairing pallets, carrying out general yard duties, and helping maintain a safe, productive, and tidy working environment. Applicants with knowledge and understanding of the pallet industry and experience using heavy-duty tools and machinery such as nail guns and reciprocating saws are preferred.
The successful candidate must be willing to work safely, follow company procedures, and contribute positively as part of a team.
Main Duties
- Repairing damaged pallets using hand tools and machinery
- Sorting, stacking, and moving pallets safely
- Using heavy-duty tools and equipment, including nail guns and reciprocating saws
- Carrying out general yard duties and housekeeping Keeping the yard, canteen, and welfare facilities clean and tidy.
- Using tools and equipment safely and responsibly Wearing PPE at all times while working
- Following company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a busy outdoor yard environment
Preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of the pallet industry
- Previous experience in pallet repair, manufacturing, recycling, warehouse, construction, or yard work
- Experience using heavy-duty hand tools and machinery, including nail guns, reciprocating saws, and other power tools
- Forklift experience or a valid forklift licence
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Full UK driving licence
