Kitchen experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. However, previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment would be an advantage.

Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support the cooking team by handling basic frying and plating tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations to uphold food safety standards
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies according to health regulations
- Help with dishwashing duties, including cleaning pots, pans, and other kitchenware efficiently
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for staff and customers
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
Skills
- Basic food preparation skills with an understanding of cooking processes
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly
- Willingness to learn new culinary techniques and safety procedures
