Bartender Wanted – The White Lion, Barrow
We’re looking for an experienced bartender to join the team at The White Lion as we continue building Barrow’s go-to traditional real ale pub.
This is a small part-time cover role:
- Around 4–8 hours per week
- Usually 1–2 shifts
- Plus the odd holiday/sickness cover
It would suit someone looking for a bit of extra income alongside another job, or perhaps someone retired who misses the pub trade and fancies a hobby job in a proper local.
We do need someone with previous bar experience who can confidently step behind the bar and hit the ground running.
Most importantly, we want somebody who genuinely enjoys people, understands hospitality, and takes pride in doing things properly. At The White Lion, a good pint matters — but so does a friendly welcome and a chat with the locals.
A passion for real ale and cask beer is a big bonus.
