Office Cleaner
Location: Durham, Tyne and Wear, Teesside.
Hours: Part-Time / Evening Shift
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional Office Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic office environment for staff and visitors.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and can work independently to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuuming carpets and floor areas
- Mopping hard floors
- Dusting desks, furniture, and office equipment
- Cleaning kitchens, break rooms, and staff areas
- Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and toilets
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Cleaning internal glass, doors, and touchpoints
- Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet tissue, and paper towels
- Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
- Following cleaning schedules and company procedures
Essential Requirements
- Previous office cleaning or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional and trustworthy attitude
- Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills
- Experience using commercial cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations
- Understanding of colour-coded cleaning systems
- Experience working in professional office environments
