Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Serve drinks responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and safety standards
- Assist in food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards and guest expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, following food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm matters most!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of food and beverages
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, change handling, and inventory counts
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation techniques
- Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a lively environment
- Basic understanding of serving alcohol responsibly and adherence to legal requirements
- Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively as part of a team
