Job Summary
Cricklade Hotel & Country Club is seeking a reliable and hardworking Pot Wash / Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. This role is essential in supporting our chefs and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our busy hotel kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen utensils
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, surfaces, and storage areas
- Empty rubbish bins and manage waste disposal correctly
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist chefs with basic preparation tasks when required
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Working Hours
- Shift-based work including evenings and weekends
- Full-time and part-time positions may be available
