Pay & Shift Details
- Shift Window: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM (14-hour window, visiting multiple clients in their homes)
- Pay Structure: 12 hours flat pay daily at £13.00/hour
Responsibilities
- Travel between client homes within the 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM window to deliver scheduled daily care visits
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Help with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social activities safely and punctually
- Manage behavior challenges with patience, understanding, and effective behavior management strategies
- Document care activities accurately in client records and communicate any concerns to supervisory staff
Qualifications
- Must be a driver with a valid UK driver’s license ( Traveling between client homes and transportation duties)
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and senior care is preferred
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients or handling supplies
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
