Job Overview
MS Bakery is seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods, ensuring high standards of quality and food safety are maintained throughout the process. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in delighting our customers with fresh, delicious products. The average shift pattern is 5 days a week - 9 hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread & pastries.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavour and presentation.
- Monitor the baking process to ensure products are cooked to perfection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in the planning and development of new recipes and menu items.
- Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production.
- Proficient in baking techniques and methods.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery environment is advantageous.
