Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Practice Lead/Receptionist to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for administrative excellence and patient care. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring smooth daily operations within our practice. Prior office experience and administrative skills are highly valued to maintain an efficient and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, creating a positive first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders using our practice management system
- Answer incoming calls promptly, directing enquiries appropriately and providing exceptional customer service
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with billing processes, including processing payments and issuing invoices
- Coordinate correspondence via email and postal mail as required
- Support the team with organising meetings, maintaining supplies, and other administrative duties to ensure seamless practice operations
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or previous administrative roles within a healthcare or similar setting is preferred
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar programmes
- Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst managing multiple tasks effectively
- Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude towards patient confidentiality and data protection standards

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,977.33 per year
