An opportunity has arisen for an Edge Bander Operator to join our team.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Setting and operating edge bander
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and productivity
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- General Housekeeping duties
- Working as part of a team
- Using own initiative
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Aged 18+ due to use of machinery
- Must be willing to provide cover in other areas of the operation when required
Desirable:
- Experience of edgebander (training will be given)
- Experience of panel saw (training will be given)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.02
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Overtime
Pay: £13.02 per hour
