About Our Pre-School
Harpole Pre-School was founded in 1966 and has built its reputation by providing outstanding childcare over many years. Ofsted judged the Pre-School practice ‘Outstanding’ in both May 2011, January 2015 and September 2022. We take great pride and emphasis on developing children in our care and we believe each child deserves the opportunity to thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
Due to an increase in numbers we have an opportunity for a motivated, passionate, enthusiastic and caring individual who will share our values in supporting children’s growth and care.
You should be able to:
- Maintain a stimulating and enjoyable environment for all children in the setting.
- Be flexible based on business needs

- Be Reliable
- Be Passionate to learn and to enhance children’s experience throughout their time with Harpole Pre-School.
- Hold a F&R L3 qualification in childcare or early years practice.
- Experience in a setting preferred.
- Have a solid understanding of Safeguarding and its procedures.
We have full time hours available Monday - Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm term time only. Start date ideally would be September 2026 but can be immediate for the right candidate. Part time hours would also be considered for the right candidate.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and does require a criminal records check. Applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions they may have and any orders which have been made against them
