The Growth Company (GC) is seeking a collaborative and innovative Leadership Development Specialist to support the design and delivery of a leadership development programme aligned to the organisation’s newly developed Leadership Competency Framework.
Following significant work to define and embed a clear set of leadership competencies across GC, this role will play a key part in bringing these to life in practice. You will design and deliver engaging development solutions for a diverse range of leaders, ensuring the competencies translate into meaningful behaviours and impact across the organisation.
This role is critical in embedding key leadership skills and behaviours, supporting leaders throughout their development journey using a blend of approaches including facilitated learning, coaching and peer development. You will contribute to building a culture of continuous learning, enabling leaders to apply their learning in practice and delivering measurable organisational impact.

Please note this is a fixed-term, part-time position for 12 months (22.5 hours per week), with a full-time equivalent salary of £45,000 per annum (pro-rata salary of £27,000 per year)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver high-quality leadership development programmes, including workshops, cohorts and blended learning.
- Translate the Leadership Competency Framework into engaging, practical learning experiences aligned to organisational priorities.
- Facilitate learning using a range of approaches, including group workshops, coaching, action learning and peer development.
- Diagnose leadership development needs and recommend targeted interventions to drive behaviour change.
- Provide bespoke leadership support through one-to-one and group-based interventions.
- Collaborate with HR, Organisational Development (OD) and business stakeholders to align development activity with wider people strategies and organisational goals.
- Develop and implement frameworks to measure impact, tracking leadership capability and organisational outcomes.
- Continuously review and improve learning provision based on feedback, data and organisational priorities.
About You
- Experienced in leadership development or OD within a complex environment.
- Skilled in designing and delivering impactful learning interventions that drive behavioural change.
- Experience working with senior leaders, with the credibility to challenge and influence where appropriate.
- A strong facilitator who can adapt approach to suit different audiences and learning styles.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to measure and demonstrate impact.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- Collaborative and pragmatic, working effectively across teams and functions.

Skills Required

- Experience using a range of learning methodologies, including blended learning approaches.
- Ability to evaluate impact and continuous improvement of learning interventions.
