Support Worker Opportunity – Make a Real Difference
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Support Worker to provide one-to-one support for a friendly young man with Autism, ADHD, Tourette’s Syndrome, a moderate to severe learning disability, visual impairment and hearing loss.
Initially covering long-term sickness absence, this role has the potential to become permanent for the right person.
This young man enjoys getting out and about in the community, including travelling on the Metro and buses, visiting the cinema and theatre, watching trains, and taking part in activities such as ten-pin bowling. If you're active, patient and enjoy supporting others to live life to the fullest, this could be the perfect role for you.
You will help him manage his anxiety, build confidence, and access the activities he enjoys while promoting his independence. This is an active role, and he may use mobility aids including a Ramble Tag, walker or manual wheelchair depending on the activity.
Hours
✅ 2–3 days per week
✅ 4 hours per day
✅ Flexible working days
✅ Additional hours may be available
There may also be opportunities to provide support at his day service during the week.
