Role: Kitchen Porter
Salary: £12.71 p/h + Service Charge Share

Following the successful expansion and full launch of the business, we are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our growing kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy, professional hospitality environment and play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Working closely with our chefs and front-of-house teams, you will help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety, ensuring the kitchen can operate efficiently during service.
What's the role?
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, pot wash and food preparation areas.
- Wash and store crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
- Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy and organised throughout service.
- Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling in line with company procedures.
- Support deliveries, including checking, unpacking and correctly storing stock.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed accurately and on time.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Assist with end-of-day kitchen cleaning and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to support efficient service.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a kitchen, hospitality or food production environment is beneficial but not essential.
- Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices would be advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a varied workload.
- Comfortable undertaking physically demanding tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
- Willingness to learn and support the wider kitchen team.
