Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained at all times. The successful applicant will have experience in a busy kitchen. Knowledge of seafood would also be preferred, but not essential. Ideally, You will have previous experience in kitchens and in delivering the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence in food quality, presentation and service is essential. We are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and less experience, so if you think you are a fast learner & looking to learn & gain some kitchen experience let us know!!!
Ideally we are looking for a candidate that has a meticulous nature, who aims for a high level of consistency and is willing to learn and improve their skill set and product knowledge.

Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Work well alongside other kitchen staff and restaurant team
- Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals
- Maintain food safety protocols and cleanliness within the kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory efficiently
- Innovate menu items while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation
- Uphold hospitality standards by assisting with serving when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively and foster a positive working environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
- Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Previous experience in food production, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly desirable
