Solid Fabrications is a leading manufacturer and installer of premium solid surface products, working with materials including Corian, HI-MACS, Durat,Staron, Krion and Durasein. We deliver high-quality bespoke solutions across commercial, hospitality, healthcare, retail and residential sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Solid Surface Finisher to join our busy production team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the finishing, sanding and polishing of solid surface products, ensuring every item meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship before leaving the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Sanding and finishing solid surface products to a high standard.
- Polishing surfaces to achieve the required finish specification.
- Inspecting completed work and carrying out quality checks.
- Rectifying minor imperfections and ensuring a flawless finish.
- Working alongside fabricators and production staff to meet project deadlines.
- Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and practical skills.
- Previous experience in solid surface finishing.
- Experience in joinery, stone masonry, fabrication, manufacturing or similar trades.
- Familiarity with sanding and polishing equipment.
