Duties
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading goods.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and process shipping and receiving documentation.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and documenting all transactions.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or similar logistics setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and stock management.
Pay will be minimum wage based on age.
Part time hours can be flexible to suit,
Working Mondays is imperative and some weekend working may be required.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
