Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced summer Chef de partie with the potential to turn into a full time job.
Join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have had previous kitchen experience with running different sections, ordering, stock rotations and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head & kitchen team with daily operations, woking with kitchen personnel, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Kitchen opening hours
12pm-8pm Mon-Saturday,
Sunday 12pm-4pm
4. 5 days a week maximum 48 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head & Junior Sous Chef in planning and preparing menus, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes
- Be able to work all sections in the kitchen with a "can do attitude" on board training will be given
- Help with food production, ensuring all dishes are prepared to specified standards and within designated timeframes
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to minimise waste and control costs
- Lead by example in cooking, food presentation, and maintaining a positive team environment
- Support the development of new recipes and menu items to enhance customer experience
Qualifications
- Proven experience within a professional kitchen environment
- background in food preparation, cooking, and food production
- Good understanding of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a must
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
