Response is a rapidly expanding and established mechanical engineering Company with Regional Offices in South Wales and the South West.
We have vacancies in our South Wales branch for mechanical fitters with fixed plant and mobile plant experience. Along with vacancies for experienced fabricator welders at the Hirwaun Workshops.
Our clients are major aggregate producers throughout the UK. The South Wales branch at Hirwaun supports their sites in the South Wales Region
Our workshops provide heavy and light fabrications for our client’s projects.
We have our own in-house design team.
Ideally, mechanical fitter candidates should have experience with heavy industrial plant and material handling equipment. The Fabricator Welders having experience with heavy structural steel fabrication and welding
Preferred qualifications would be C&G or NVQ. However, candidates with site experience and a flexible approach to training will also be considered.
· All safety and equipment training will be provided, including MEWPS, Confined Space and Rescue Recovery
· 22 Days holidays plus 8 Bank holidays
· Overtime at premium rates available on weekends time and a half Saturday and Double time Sunday
