Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Installation Carpenter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of structures and fixtures on-site, ensuring precision and quality in all aspects of their work. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad range of carpentry and construction skills within a dynamic environment. The ideal applicant will have experience in fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand and power tools, with a strong focus on safety and craftsmanship.
Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden and other materials according to project specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete installations efficiently and accurately
- Perform joinery work, cabinetry, and other fixtures
- Assist with heavy lifting and manoeuvring of materials to ensure smooth workflow on-site
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all phases of work
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects whilst maintaining high standards of quality
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or general construction work is essential
- Familiarity with fabrication, assembly processes, and the use of hand tools and power tools is required
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the day
- Previous experience working on-site within residential or commercial building projects is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting components accurately
