We are looking for a dependable, friendly and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our growing family-run cleaning business.
This is a part-time role starting at approximately 6 hours per week, with days and working times to be discussed and agreed. There will also be opportunities to pick up additional ad hoc hours, including deep cleans and one-off cleans, with the potential for regular hours to increase as the business continues to grow.
You will provide high-quality cleaning services in our clients’ homes, working independently or alongside other members of the team. We take pride in delivering a reliable, professional service and leaving every home clean, fresh and well presented.
Main Duties
- Carry out a range of cleaning tasks including dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, hoovering and disposing of waste
- Complete regular domestic cleans, deep cleans and one-off cleans to a high standard
- Use cleaning equipment and products correctly and safely, in line with COSHH requirements
- Pay close attention to detail and ensure all areas meet our expected standards
- Manage your time effectively to complete cleans within the agreed schedule
- Report any repairs, damage or safety concerns to your supervisor
- Follow health and safety procedures, including infection control and the safe use of PPE
- Attend training sessions and refreshers when required
- Communicate professionally and confidently with clients
- Represent the business in a friendly, reliable and professional manner
What You Can Expect
- Pay from £12.79 per hour during your probation period, with rates varying depending on the type of work

About You
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can be trusted to provide an excellent service to our clients.
Some previous cleaning experience would be helpful, with full paid training provided. Experience in caring or other client-facing roles may also be beneficial due to the nature of some of our clients.
You should:
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable, punctual and proactive
- Have a positive and friendly attitude
- Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Be able to communicate confidently and professionally with clients
- Be willing to undertake training and learn our cleaning standards
- Hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
- Have, or be willing to arrange, business use on your vehicle insurance
