Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and customer‑focused Fuel Station Attendant to support daily operations at our busy local fuel station. The successful candidate will ensure smooth forecourt operations, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and deliver exceptional service to every customer.
Working Hours
- 06:45 – 14:00 every Saturday and Sunday
- Candidates must be available to work overtime when required to support operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with refuelling.
- Promote and upsell forecourt products such as snacks, drinks, and car accessories.
- Monitor fuel levels and replenish stock and supplies when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised forecourt and customer area.
- Respond to customer enquiries politely and efficiently.
- Open and close the fuel station in line with operational procedures, ensuring all safety and security checks are completed.
Experience & Skills
- Previous customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
- Confident phone etiquette and the ability to handle enquiries professionally.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and card payments.
- Effective time‑management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Comfortable promoting and selling products.
