Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Order Packing & Fulfilment Assistant to join the Pinkfishes team.
Pinkfishes is a UK beauty brand supplying professional lash, brow and waxing products and training to beauty professionals across the UK and beyond.
This is a hands-on role where your main responsibilities will include picking and packing customer orders, but you'll also support our customer service and retail operations — from answering customer queries and serving customers in our shop to preparing Click & Collect orders.
There may also be opportunities to get involved with other areas of the business, including helping to showcase and sell our products during TikTok Lives.
We’re looking for someone who is confident, approachable and happy to get stuck into different tasks as part of a small, busy team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Picking and carefully packing online customer orders
- Checking orders for accuracy before dispatch
- Printing and applying shipping labels
- Preparing Click & Collect orders for customers
- Serving customers in our Pinkfishes shop
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with customer queries
- Helping customers with general product and order enquiries
- Replenishing and organising stock
- Receiving and putting away stock deliveries
- Keeping the warehouse, packing and retail areas clean and organised
- Potentially appearing on and helping with TikTok Lives to showcase and sell Pinkfishes products
- Supporting the wider Pinkfishes team during busy periods, promotions and product launches
- Carrying out other general duties to support the day-to-day running of the business
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, approachable and confident speaking to customers
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is organised and able to work efficiently
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Is comfortable answering telephone calls and dealing with customer queries
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Is happy working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Is willing to get involved with different areas of the business
- Is comfortable being on their feet and handling boxes and stock throughout the working day
- Is confident using computers and learning new systems
Previous experience in customer service, retail, e-commerce, warehouse fulfilment or picking and packing would be beneficial, but isn't essential as training will be provided.
An interest in the beauty industry or social media would also be an advantage.
