Care Home Based | Permanent | Night Shifts | £15.50ph
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Night Carers to join our dedicated care team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role during night shifts, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care in a calm and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care, promoting residents’ independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Lead and support the night care team, acting as a role model for best practice
- Administer medication in line with company policy (following competency-based training)
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing throughout the night and accurately record observations
- Respond promptly to call bells and emergencies
- Support and review care plans, escalating concerns appropriately
- Carry out spot checks, supervisions and ensure high standards of care are maintained
About You:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Recognised medication administration qualification and experience
- Previous experience in a senior carer/care assistant role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Compassionate, resilient and confident working independently at night
- Basic IT literacy
Flexibility is required to work a variety of night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
