We're looking for passionate, caring and committed Children's Residential Autism Practitioners to join our dedicated team at our warm and welcoming 3-bed Ofsted-registered children's home in Chudleigh Knighton.
Our home supports children and young people aged 10–16 with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. Every day is an opportunity to help our young people build confidence, develop independence, celebrate achievements and reach new milestones through person-centred, autism-informed support.

About the Role
As a Children's Residential Autism Practitioner, you'll:
- Build positive, trusting and meaningful relationships with our children and young people.
- Deliver autism-informed, person-centred care tailored to each child's individual needs.
- Support children with daily routines, education, communication, life skills and community activities.
- Promote independence, emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes.
- Use positive behaviour support approaches to help children feel safe, understood and empowered.
- Work collaboratively as part of a settled and supportive team to provide a consistent, nurturing home environment.
- Celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small.

What We're Looking For

Essential/Preferred Requirements
- A genuine passion for supporting autistic children and young people.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or over.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.
- Experience supporting autistic children or young people is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants who share our values and are committed to learning and development.

Working Pattern
You'll work 40 hours per week, typically across five days, with shifts of:
- 7:00am – 3:00pm
- 2:00pm – 8:00pm
In addition, you'll benefit from:
- At least one full weekend off every month
- An average of one sleep-in every other week
- A rota designed to promote a healthy work-life balance while providing consistency for the children we support.
