ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all arrivals are inspected as per the intake protocol.
- Upload packing lists and ensure that all system data is correct.
- Ensure that all aspects of product quality are accurately reported to the growers and relevant internal departments.
- Ensure that any temperature abuse or other issues that can seriously affect product quality are highlighted.
- Effectively communicate to relevant stakeholders where necessary.
- Ensure that equipment is maintained in acceptable condition and calibration is complete.
- Collect ART samples.
- Ensure shift handovers are effective and include all pertinent information.
- Perform other duties as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of prior work experience in a Fresh Produce / Quality function.
- Basic computer skills, ideally an understanding of Microsoft D365.
- Work and make decisions with a sense of urgency, adhering to tight schedules.
- Good problem-solving skills with a strong ability to effectively identify problems and help resolve them.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, including an ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Teamwork: Balance team and individual responsibilities for group efficiencies. Exhibit objectivity and openness to others’ views. Able to work effectively with all levels to obtain team objectives and KPI’s.
- Quality: Must demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and commitment to complete tasks correctly the first time.
Pay: £34,900.00 per year
