We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join an established and successful business based in Portsmouth.
The company is a leading supplier to the construction and building industry, providing a wide range of specialist building materials and products to trade customers and construction professionals.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent role.
As an FLT Driver, your duties will include:
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving and storing stock around the yard and warehouse
- Preparing materials and orders for customers
- Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Working as part of a busy and supportive team

- Some manual handling and heavy lifting will be involved due to the nature and weight of the products
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in operating a forklift
- In possession of a valid FLT licence
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Safety-conscious with a good attitude to work
- Comfortable working in a busy yard/warehouse environment
- Looking for a long-term opportunity
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
Working Hours
Working hours will be between 6:00am and 5:00pm, with the exact hours to be discussed and agreed at interview.
