Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HLTA to join our team in supporting students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream secondary schools . The ideal candidate will have experience working with challenging children, particularly young adults, and possess a passion for special education and helping those with ADHD/Autism/Behaviour Disorders. You MUST have some teaching/tutoring experience as the successful candidate will need to help deliver lessons.
This a full time role working in a SEN School based in Derby City working with students aged between 5-11 year olds.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with challenging individuals to provide tailored care and support
- Develop and implement educational programmes to meet the specific needs of each individual
- Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and other professionals involved in the care of individuals
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure optimal development
