DSG Civils Limited are looking for a reliable, organised General Administrative Assistant to join our office team.
This is a varied role and would suit someone with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys working with people, is confident using their own initiative and is willing to learn.
Previous experience is not essential full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is quick to learn, has strong initiative and can pick up new tasks quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Timesheets & Staff Hours
- Reviewing and checking staff clock-in/clock-out sheets.
- Identifying and resolving any discrepancies with recorded hours.
- Liaising with staff and site teams where clarification is required.
- Preparing and submitting accurate staff hours to Accounts for approval.
- Maintaining accurate working-hour records.
Subcontractor Administration
- Checking and updating subcontractor training records to ensure qualifications are valid and in date.
- Gathering information and completing subcontractor induction forms.
- Maintaining training and compliance information on the company training matrix.
- Booking training courses where required.
- Keeping company records and internal systems accurate and up to date.
Fleet & Asset Administration
- Managing vehicle tax and booking MOTs.
- Maintaining up-to-date fleet records and the company asset register.
- Monitoring and updating fleet insurance details.
- Maintaining vehicle and equipment documentation.
Health & Safety / General Administration
- Maintaining work logs, construction activity records, job information sheets and project team rosters.
- Providing general administrative support to office and site teams.
- Supporting Health & Safety administration.
- Answering calls, taking messages and assisting with general office duties.
- Carrying out other administrative tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will be able to remain calm, organised and positive in a busy, fast-paced environment, while managing multiple tasks and changing priorities effectively.
We are looking for someone who is:

- Detail-focused and committed to maintaining accurate records.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Positive, approachable and able to work well as part of a team.
What We Offer
- Part-time hours. 3 days per week, with the potential for additional days as the business grows and needs arise.
- Working hours: 8am–5pm.

Location: Castlederg, Co. Tyrone
Competitive rate of pay, negotiable depending on experience and previous experience in similar roles.
