At Willowbrook Hospice, we are deeply passionate in providing high-quality care and support to our patients and their loved ones. Our retail shops are the heartbeat of our fundraising efforts, and we are looking for a motivated, community-minded Store Manager to join our friendly, welcoming team.
Your Role:
As a tore manager you will bring the retail space to drive the success that funds our care services.
- You will mange day-to-day shop operations, incoming stock and create visual displays to increase sales.
- Oversee targets, financial records and handle banking and ensure compliance with Gift Aid, trading standards and policies.
- Leading the team through recruitment, training, supporting and motivating our team of volunteers creating a positive store culture.
- You will build strong relationships through community engagement to boost donations, raise awareness and promote our values.
- Your role will oversee shift cover, leading team meetings and maintaining flexibility to support other local stores when required.
About You:
We are looking for and organised, positive, self-motivated leader who cares about their role and will bring:
- Management experience previously working as a store manager or retail supervisor.
- Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with customers, donors, volunteers and wider management team.
- Confident leadership skills in training, coaching, and shift management for a diverse team
- Manage daily admin tasks and reporting to head of department.
- A positive reliable approach with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
