Nelipak Elsham is looking for a Manufacturing Technician Apprentice to join our manufacturing team and begin an exciting career within the medical packaging industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment while working towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification.
No previous manufacturing experience is required – we're looking for enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Technician Apprentice, you'll learn how to produce high-quality flexible packaging used to protect healthcare and medical products worldwide.
Your training will include:
✔ Operating specialist manufacturing equipment
✔ Learning how flexible packaging materials are produced
✔ Assisting with machine set-ups and product changeovers
✔ Carrying out quality inspections and product checks
✔ Recording production and quality information
✔ Learning process control and problem-solving techniques
✔ Supporting continuous improvement activities
✔ Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
✔ Following health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures
✔ Working alongside experienced operators and manufacturing professionals
As your confidence and knowledge grow, you'll take on increasing responsibility and develop into a skilled manufacturing professional.
This role would suit someone who:

Essential:
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Desirable:
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in one or more of:

- A willingness and ability to complete the academic requirements of the apprenticeship programme.

Important Information
Location: Nelipak Elsham, North Lincolnshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Please note: Due to the location of our site and limited public transport options, applicants must have reliable transport to travel to and from work.
