Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bar / Restuarant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar and resturant facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food production, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. As the Bar / Resturant Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and overseeing daily bar & restuarant activities.
Responsibilities
- Meet & greet residents, diners and customers to the facility.
- Supervise and train bar staff to ensure excellent service and adherence to company standards.
- Manage inventory and replenishment of main and function room bars.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of drinks, ensuring quality and consistency in every serving.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards within the bar area.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Monitor financial transactions within the bar, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and reporting.
- Closing up the bar and resturant, cashing up, close up of the building and facilities.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality setting is essential.
- Good personality and welcoming attributes to make customers and residents feel welcome.
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail preparation, and beverage trends.
- Familiarity with food hygiene standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with staff and customers alike.
