Duties
- Work in chilled environment
- Load and unload shipments quickly and safely using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when certified
- Operate RF scanners and voice picking system to accurately track inventory movements and update warehouse systems in real-time
- Organize stock within the warehouse, ensuring items are stored systematically for easy access and efficient distribution
- Prepare goods for shipping by packing, labeling, and verifying orders to meet quality standards
- Conduct regular warehouse distribution tasks such as sorting, filing, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing items
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines to prevent injuries
Skills
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with strong organizational skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations
- Excellent attention to detail for filing, labeling, and verifying shipments
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including load & unload procedures
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
