Role: Family Worker
Salary: Grade F £30,024 - £32,597 a year

We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff who is able to work alone and as part of a highly motivated team of Family Workers within an Integrated Safeguarding Team of Social Workers.
Your role is important to the safeguarding of children and young people. Your observations of the interaction between children and their parents/carers during supervised Family Time and the recording that you will undertake is critical to the court process in which Social Work staff make plans for the permanence of children.
Within this role it is also crucial to have high standards of professionalism, organisation and communication skills. You will have an ability to work with other professionals and to promote good working relationships between yourself and parents. You will be able to evidence a high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
As part of your role you may are required to undertake some work within the community with parents/carers and children.
It is essential that you have the use of a car.
This exciting position requires individuals to work with social workers who have case responsibility and contribute with other professionals towards better outcomes for children.
You will be supported with an induction package and opportunities for training.
