Role Overview:
As a Welding QC Inspector, you will ensure all welding and fabrication work meets approved specifications and quality standards. You will perform quality stage inspections, factory acceptance testing, and escalate any issues to the Senior Welding Inspector.
Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all quality stages are recorded on our electronic quality system, ensuring full traceability of all production items. During reviews, you may be required to present the quality process and information from previous similar jobs. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding inspection, quality control, and a strong understanding of fabrication processes within the M&E or manufacturing industries.

Responsible to | Quality Control Manager
Conduct quality inspections, factory acceptance testing, and welding surveillance to ensure all fabrication and welded components meet approved drawings, specifications, production, and quality standards. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, measuring, and reporting on welded products; performing visual and non-destructive testing (NDT); verifying weld quality and dimensions; identifying defects and non-conformances; recommending process adjustments and repairs; and supporting corrective actions. The role also involves reviewing welding procedures, materials, and welder qualifications, maintaining full production traceability and electronic quality records, and accepting or rejecting completed components in line with established standards. Additionally, the role requires presenting quality findings from previous similar projects, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and carrying out other duties as required by management.
